footie in the big screen :)

the friday was one of the boring and longest weekday i had.....i was so eager and cant wait to see the much awaited Germany Vs. Argentina....i was planning to collect all my frnds to my house and have a good fun....but i had the double flavour....my frnds at trilogy called me up and asked me to join them the footie in the giant screen in ther office....more over therz gonna b snacks and drinks to the viewers all evng...hoe can i say no !!!! i was all thrilled and waiting for 7 o clk to come.....i wasnt commited in gym either.....got the 7 o clk shuttle to trilogy.....rchd ther arnd 8.15 and all set to watch the grand gala quarter finals....

it was way huge screen and the ambience was abslte thrill and excitmnt.....ppl started flowing in ...we occupied the first table to have a better view....ther u go can see the michael ballack;s 11 lining up to kick argie;s ass...most of the chaps ther wer argentina supporters and i was very much thrilled.....the kick off started and the game was thrilling to see both the teams struggling to have the possession in ther opponents area...ballack had a header chance in the first half and missed it narrowly.....the first half is done but no goals as yet in the board...the argie players wer looking like bulls waiting to pierce the human flesh.....german;s wer too courageous to take up the fite .... argies are playing under rain of fouls and germans wer over looked i guess....at times...

the second half started and every one at ther edges.....freaking hell!!! argie made a goal and the whole place was electric and i was like jumng out of the terrace....my mouth was fulla nails after since the 52nd minte....was waitin for the wonder to happen...and the germans put everything on ther feet to save themselves.....and the 80th minte arrived...i slowly started losing the hope .... my frnds started taking the piss outta me....crap man this cant b happening....its ther home after all germans do some thing..the argie goal keeper got a severe blow in his ribs trying to stop a corner...he was replace by no. 2 goal key..he is not smart enuf against germans.....82nd minte i guess.....ther was a lovely heading ballck passed on to klose and klose the silent and smart one converted it as the 2nd best goal (on my rating) inside the poles....and thaz it ...my joy knew no bounds.....my throat fully occupied wth the noice elements of the combination (Y-E-S-S-S-S-S-S).....

now the fun begun and me back to normal picking the hell out of those flippin argie fans....later the full time almost got over...the extra time rolled off too....now the moment of penalty shoot out and germans wer too confident on ther goal key (lehman) besides argie doesnt have ther best goal key....but the history scared me a bit telling argentina never lost in the wrld cup to a penalty shoot out climax....oh my god....the fun begun....lehman jus outclassed and saved germans to semi finals.....joy had new meaning that day and i was all jumping out of josh....my dear argie fan frnds jus dig ther faces under the ground .....it was all fun that nite and rushed back home wth lotsa satisfaction....

the next day was england Vs. portugal....my 2nd support goes to england after germany....i was hoping to see germany Vs. england in final.....shame !! england lost in the penalty shoot out against portugal....i will blame lampard (aka idiot) who let down his team wth his stupid fut ball skills....another surprise (not a lot tho) was brasil lost to france....it is now all europeans to fight in the pool of semi final clashes.... i wish germany Vs. portugal in finals.....germany to win the cup....all i wud wish.... :)
