Life in Singapore is/was a real eye opener in many aspects…. Specially, in terms of sports…. I initially formed a cricket intrst group and some how lost intrst in that…. Later, got in to badminton with the other dudes living in my area…. Badminton was fascinating as well but the indoor courts were quiet expensive… We still played enough and I was taken by a shock to noticelosing 4 kgs in jus 2 weeks of my rookie play…
Off late we discovered there is a tennis court in our office back yard and its so cheap that the money is close to negligible…. My mate and me decided to give a go …. I am hopeless in this game and he had the needed exposure to start.. however, we both wer crazy abt fitness and adventure… we cracked off and got a couple of racquets… the first time I even touched a tennis racquet… so stupid… I din even try the game and I alrdy spent 110$... CONFIDENCE
2/3 weeks back we started off and it was an end to end fun show to whoever watchd us playing that day… the crktng instincts forced me to play boundaries instead of cribbing the hitting instincts…. The ambiguous reflex made me hit all 4’s and sixes instead of placing the ball with in the court… 3 balls over the fence and many of em to the neighbour court… man I thought I wasted 100 bucks….
The next day was ok as we got 2 other mates with us and surprised to see I improved my show with a ratio of 1:10 shots in the court… and We gradually improvised but I was rather too late to pick the game up and with too bad stamina, I was only fighting hard to stay alive until we finish…
In recent days, my focus was more on the serves… mentioning about serves, I love the rule that allows one fault for every time we serve…. This allowed me to try crazy methods of serving… every time I serve I will try 1 million kmph speed in my first attempt and in that 1 out of 1 zillion times get through… I will be too happy to c atleast 1 or 2 in a day get through at the lightning speed…. The feeling of getting the ball placed in that speed and get back a point was awesome…
The other thing about Tennis, the court… for all the time in past, Tennis for me was too posh game and I never thought I will ever play this game in my life… The court here is absolutely awesome with rubber cork grip and gives a playing-in-stadium feeling… I dunno if these things made me love Singapore…
The last thing I wanna mention is Cricket…. No wonder almost 80% (ignore the figure 80%... I know 64.4% statistics are wrong) tennis dudes doesn’t like playing cricket and call it as stupid… I realized the work out I recvd after 1 hour tennis … I can honestly compare to 1 day’s crkt interms of calorie burnt… however, I always love cricket for the good mix of skill, power, strategy and sledging involved… I will never ever stop watching the game though….

hmm.. 1 hrs play == 1 day of cricket !!. I'm just doing the math for the frequency at which I should play tennis :P
You seem to be leaner though.. camera trick?
