A truly awesome moment to see that its Indian (once again) making history with the bat. I felt happier than when I saw Yuvraj Singh made six sixes in a single over.. a bit more exciting than watching Sehwag scoring 300 at will in tests… Equally delightful as India won the inaugural T20 world cup….
200 was always never easy and you gotto watch how he made it look like a walk in the park… The next immediate sentence I saw in many sites are ‘Anwars 194 was a better one given the toughness to reach that score in those cricketing era were team reaching 300 is literally winning score’…. A 100% stupid statement….
Anwar is a good batsman. No Offence but comparing a mole to mountain’s achievement is so absurd. Here is the comparison thingy to underline the flawless achievement made yesterday.
Anwar got a runner in 19th over and the team score is around 320. Means, after 20th over Anwar’s concentration was only to hit and stay cool with out bothering much about anything else happens. Tendulkar played whole 50 overs running for himself and for others took teams total to 400 and tendulkar did it at an age where many of them watching the match with their grand kids (exhaturated out of frusturation ) ; )
Anwar was lucky with 3 drop catches. Tendulkar showed the youngsters how to bat with out giving a chance.
Anwar scored against a below par Indian bowling attack with bowlers like joshi, kuruvilla, Prasad and co. Tendulkar scored against bowling machines like Steyn, Parnell, Langeveldt and co.

Apart from the 194, Anwar never scored above 150 in any other match. The master blaster got 5 already under his belt and still more to come.
If I gotto be unbiased with the comparison I can give credit to Anwar as he scored this in the away pitch. Still, Chennai crowd is known for supporting good game unlike eden gardens known for crazy about Indian win. So, I don’t see a big credit factor.
The verdict is ‘Though Sachin is known for his keen eye to personal records attitude, it always served the purpose of lifting the nations image in international arena and therefore like any other Cricket mad Indian, I am happy that the first 200 in this format is achieved by the one who exactly deserve than any other cricketer in the world.’
The upcoming special moments will be fifty 100s in test, fifty 100s in ODI and eventually hundred 100s in International cricketing career.
