Human Irony

Hurray… I managed to deliver my next post on the blog space in too short span…. That much 'vetti' here….

This happened few minutes before I posted this…. I was chatting with my good friend and the conversation went like this….

Friend : hi dude…
Me : Hi da… waz happening??
Friend : donno da..the world looks different
Me : i feel like u r getting psyched day by day
Friend : Hmmm…
Me : Why da??
Is it coz of the serial blasts in jaipur ? or
Is it coz of the earth quake rocking china ? or
Is it cos of cyclones in Myanmar ? or
Friend : No da…. My team is not performing well in IPL matches
Me : Hahahaha !!!!

I suddenly remembered this dialogue in one of the TV serials I watched long back…

‘Indiavum pakistanum cricket velaadina makkal seriousaa paakraanga … aana seriousaa sandai pota makkal velayaata paakaraanga….’

This means, if nations play sports people watching it seriously holding their nerves but when same nations fight, people watching it sportingly with out giving a damn…

Ofcourse, I am one of those ‘people’…. May the force be with us !!!!

Disclaimer : I din mean to embarass that poor chap (my friend), am blogging this with his concern as even i wudve reacted the same way wen my team loses in IPL so badly.... so guys, u can talk the same way to me with out having this at your back of the mind... 'enna kodumai sir ithu... ithunundu matter solla ethana disclaimer poda vendi iruku'....!!!

Volcano, Fireu Laa… Tornado, Puyalu Laa… !!!

The man is Ilayathalapathi….

So many posts man… how come I haven’t posted some scribbles on my favrte style icon… I once don’t like this chap during his earlier movies… he was infact one of my most hated film underdogs… but all till he revamped himself and came out well after the movie ‘Badri’… until that point I used to hate his appearance and silly masala acting…

I am sure by now so many are laughing at me with this crazy taste… for some reason most of the dudes in my circle hates him till now and the reason being his on screen gimmicks and ‘so called’ useless acting… talk to my hand ; )

The top most reason I admire him is basically with his next door boy outlook and reckless dancing… very fortunately most of the songs are good hit for him… He is not on the track of Kamalhassan or surya or vikram who pulls the crowd with their class on acting and performance… any one who puts an effort like they do can achieve it … but to my opinion, very few has the ability to pull the crowds (masses) with their stylish outlook and appealing on screen attitude…. Thalaivar (the superstar), ajith, danush, etc… I don mean they are not good actors but they have this extra attribute of mass-attracting-chemistry that others unable to fetch….

I don wanna exaggerate by telling he is thisu, thatu, this & thatuuu and all.. It is just that feel-good factor that one get lookin at his favrte star on screen…..i am certnly enjoying it… from Badri till Kuruvi : ) Few of his best appearance that I enjoyed are

Badri – for the Z-tyle and songs

Tirumalai – He had the best onscreen look in this.. Top notch Dance, cool madras tamil dialogues and racy songs… even the action…. Dialogues like ‘Potti keetha’……..’Arasu, vazhkai oru vattam ….ithula jaikaravan thopaan thokaravan jeipaan.. koodiya seekirathula itha purinjipa’ Are just catchy ones… I always love to watch the song ’thaam thaka theem thaka’…

Thullatha Manamum Thullum – The only movie in my rating wer he dominated a bit with acting more than his other abilities with out showing his usual style and all… warm movie to watch… the melodies are really mind blowing with him on screen…

Gilli – Perfect direction by dharani who used thalapathi well (action, comedy and dance)

Sivakasi – Though nothing new or the fact that it is a usual masala movie let the movie down, I liked his dance again in this one…. This one was cool

Bad guy : Un per ennada
Hero : Sivakasi
Bad Guy: Ennada oor pera solra
Hero: Athu vedi seira edam
Bad Guy : Appa ithu...
Hero : (after a hercules stunt) Vedikara idam….

Tamilan – Good projection of him as a matured person… Super star himself appretiated his action on the court scene where he says to the police man ‘Kanjiku vali ilathavan pichai edukaraan athu avan thala ezhuthu… ungalukenna kurai’ … I should say he did the best to deliver it in the most insulting and political way…. Tht movie deftly induced a bit of social sense on me….

Pokiri – The best movie I would rate for his cool tough guy appearance though I have a reservation on over violence in the movie. ‘Oru thadava mudivu panita en pecha naanay keka maatayn’… …’nee padicha schoola naa headmaster’…..sema cool… !!!

Kuruvi – Proper masala again… I guess one of very few non-remake movies that did well… this movies specially got good comedy in the first half…. Thalapathi worked out physically but doesn’t suits well for him…. Had a telugu movie outing feeling at the end… mixed opinions though… hats off to the director (Darani) again

Ofcourse, lotsa movies that I din like includes pudiya geethai, atm, all the old movies before the poove unakaaga…. But managed well to get my admiration with other good ones and average ones… However, I would love to see him as a villan or a anti-hero kind of guy though the mass followers of him would no way welcome this..... Infact am framing a story (though i kno it cant go any further from my own blog) with him as a hero and hope to put it on my blog space one day :)

Turtlish Life

There is a small fountain in my work place which I will go through many times in a day… I always take time to peep in to the mini pond like thingy around that fountain… Therz a couple of gold fishes and a turtle in that…

As a person not prone to much of a Turtle viewing, I admired with that turtle sight…. My philosophical brain triggered me to write this post… that turle always swims along the walls of that pond looking for a way to get out of that place…. Poor thing… with only 5 senses, it is not aware that therz no way out of this mini world of him… however it keeps swimming from one end to the other end hoping to get out…. When the chaps transfer him to some other place, it feels happy (thaz how I interpret) for the initial few periods and get back to the same search-for-way-out…

Compared this to the typical life of a software enggr…. We keep worried about current projects with factors like no recognition, less pay, no onsites, poor work environment and stuffs… once switched the project, again expectation multiplies and again search happens… when moved to new company again the initial period will keep you good… later the same thing happens…. When moved to new country and get in to new job, again it will refresh all your worry factor variables to 0 … later the search continues…

Apparently, what keeps you alive is the initial period which makes you happy to live… the human intelligence lies in finding the suitable shift where this initial period is quite long…. I remember one good old movie where south Indian james bond, Jaisankar mentioned “vazhkai oru thedum padalam” (life is a big board of searching spree) where ppl keep searching for their future….

Pretty ironic to see any human being happy with current life… so, rather trying to convince yourself, keep searching for that place where you have good long initial period you can enjoy and once u are done, start the new search…. This is probably the use of 6th sense and make the complete use of it to keep life exciting one :)
