Being Citizen.

Don even think like that after looking at this topic…. Am not being patriotic or sentimental or emotional about the word CITIZEN ;-) jus keep reading …

I was always a hopeless, lazy and 'life is all abt fun' sorta guy and never cared abt the society or cmmnty until few years back…. That doesn’t mean I am now perfect now tho…. However, ther are few issues that made me think ‘Why not???’ when it can be done with out pain… u confused???

I always feel like slapping those flippin NRI’s who just visit once in a year for 4 or 5 weeks vacation and thinking they are from a posh society they keep bashing at the Indian government and public…. The fun factor is that they are American in US and a proper local at ther home (hope u got wat I mean)….. any way I cant comment more on this issue as India is a democratic country for some reason and no point in wasting time blogging abt those creeps…. If you are good in observing by now u wud hav realized that the people who criticize the following wud have been the part of the same problems….i wanted to list out the issues and how the painless contribution will bring a major change in a big scene……chk it out

Traffic:

This is a major prblm the country faces absltly due to huge population and insufficient facilities…. U gotto bear in mind that India is one of the worlds largest countries and so, maintenance and support is not a peanut factor… so rather bashing at the govnmnt. Lets take a minor responsiblties that is wrth taking … like, using the existing transport (buses, autos..not necessarily public) for your travel rather driving yr own car for daily use... this reduces the major traffic at the roads... (I kno this is tough for ppl who are in IT as most of em think they are doin the absltly best job in the world and thnkng they deserve a separate car even for goin to ther Loo….) also, treat the pedestrians and other two wheeler riders as humans (if u notice many ppl driving car keep swearing at them all the time as if he is the only person in the world driving perfect) .... do say sorry if u scare them with yr big posh car by mistake…. (know wat???? Accepting yr fault and saying sorry will reduce most of the potential quarrels and roadside riots… due to minor accidents) this I found out of my own experience…. gettin this attitude Is actually very easy after attempts (don ask me how many times u messed up driving the car…) ;-)

Litter:

This is another factor that makes the foreigner go “yaaaaak” abt our country…. We don have to clean the litters on the road rather we shall learn to behave lucid in clearing our own garbage wth out troubling the public…. Its very common for the ppl to throw tiny litters ‘jus like that’ on the road…jus coz u don have any punishment by law, doesn’t mean its yr statuatory rights…. Specially ppl in the vehicles… rather throwing the garbage u can always keep it with u and dispose it wen u find the next immediate bin… iam sure this is not really a pain but u shd learn to stop feeling disgusting wen u r having yr own litter wth u… (I slowly adapted myself to this habbit however, I still throw away if I lose my patience looking for a bin… after all I am a human and I guess I am prone to mistakes) u don have to b stupid like me ;-)

Manners:

This is another key factor that pulls our country apart… we (Indians) seriously need to work on this… I noticed ppl take ther subordinates (like Manager-employee, car owner- driver, customer-server in a hotel, elder-younger, husband-wife) for granted… and I totally hate this kinda attitude… ther is always a difference between commanding others out of love and commanding others jus as they are below yr position… I will call the later one as “exploitation of the people’s inability” … we gotto respect ppl..no matter who ever they are… and practice telling “Thanks”, “Sorry”, “Please” to all human beings with equal respect…. Shud learn to stay humble and polite (specially with strangers) I guess this is not a tough thing to do…. Wat say pal??? ;-)

U may realize that actionables u have read is not actually complex and can b done by any one …. However, u don have to agree with my ideas if u feel am silly… these are only my feelings : - ) (after all we are in a democratic country)

If you reached to this part of the blog then I guess u strted thinking alrdy…. Being a literate (is it???) u can still think abt this and try to implement this wth yr life style… who knos??? May b u can inspire some one and finish the day with this feel-good mentality….

‘Gaana’ songs….

Oh my god !!! I havnt blogged for ages and I think I shud blame it on myself… been such a stupid and shame I still havnt settled with balancing my work and social life… however, am making a good progress in putting myself in to lime light …. I started loving the way I now work (vela senjitu apram pesudaaa nu neenga solrathu kekuthu…still naa kandukala) I can feel myself the difference I feel with in me over the experience I gain out here… it is indeed energetic… I learn a lot over this period (mostly out of my own mistakes)….. wo wo wo !!!! I think I still haven’t got in to the actual thought for this blog…..sorry folks !!!

Tamil nadu film industry always have a special reservation for this ‘Gaana’ songs and ther is no surprise to see millions of people go mad over this jus like R & B in the wester countries… the beat in these songs are absltly mind blowing and make any one to dance (atleast tap ther feet) … for the people who don’t kno abt these songs, these are special class of songs (I will say it as ‘maverick’ songs) which don’t agree with any particular music style or Raaga or any rhythm…. These songs are unique and u cant classify it at all…. Most of the times (not all the times) the lyrics doesn’t have any meaning at all… the objective is basically to forget everything and jus dance n add flavour to the ambience…. (did I say ambience???)

These songs wasn’t ther before ilayaraja’s period…… and slowly the maestro started introducing this roughly arnd late 70’s…. however, there wasn’t much welcome for these songs in between bachelors of those period (rasanayaeee ilaatha janthukkal) later the ultimate music director Deva changed this and introduced songs that really made many go mad on it….

Songs like ‘Ooothikinay kadichikava’, ‘kavala padaatha sagothara’, ‘aynavaram gopaalu’ ,'Manmadaraasa manmadaraasa...' , 'Eppadi Podu Podu Kannale' etc… are few of his famous Gaana’s… Prabhu deva is absltly master in choreographing gaana songs… I shud say he is the pioneer in this and none can compete wth him in this class….As for voice is concerned am not particular about a special voice for gaana songs but i liked the voice of Gaana ulaganathan (~~~vaazha meenukum vilangu meenukumkalyaanam ~~) though he made only 2 songs yet....

Even A R Rehman started mixing few gaana;s (I won say his music are completely gaanaish) with his hits…. Like ‘Peta rap’, ‘Madrasa suthi paaka’ etc… he is not really a gaana master… I like this gaana song ‘Yammadi aathadi’…recently from the movie “Vallavan” ….lovely song and am sure any one will get the spirit and go mad on hearing this music…kudos to the chaps who did the music(Yuvan shankar raja), danced(simbu & Co.) and sung(thalaivar TRR) aptly... :) oh well..... am in party mood already... crap man still one more day left for the weekend... some body keep me alive ;)

Towards India’s Center point

The marriage era started in my friend’s circle (cant believe yaar I am getting older and older) and I received my first marriage invitation from a very close friend of mine in Nagpur… I was very much excited as I have never been to a north Indian marriage.. I made up mind to visit him at any cost…my friend was kind enuf to buy me a 2 way ticket to Nagpur…

Last weekend was absltly wonderful…Ive been to shopping (after a year) got stuffs from Benetton and a local designer shop… packed up and all set to take off… I was so thrilled and xcited to visit Nagpur as I never been to that part of the India ever… he sent a cab to pick me up from the station …I was fascinated by the streets and the less traffic roads (ofcourse I kno its not much happening place i was surprised to see this as I traveled from one of the most crowded place of India…) The roads are good actually infact lot better than Bangalore… reached home in abt 15 mins…

A little embarrassed to see whole family waiting for my arrival… the house is all delighted already and my arrival added the flavour … ( me so special huh!!!) his marriage was actually over before I cud reach Nagpur and I was quite early (by arnd 16 hours) for the reception… met all his nagpur frnds and they wer so frndly and treated me as one of em… they all wer so amazing and active… they took more responsibility on the arrangements and even taken enuf care that I am not bored at any point…. Later weve been out for a grand dinner and I had sheer fun with em dancing and eating all nite….

The next day is a big one … the groom is all dressed up for the show and the bride jus outclassed any one around making them feel jealous on her..it was quitea simple function for some reason… however, we all had fun being in that occasion.. the food was an abslte mind catcher and I ate more n more… one of our frnd got his kid out ther whch jus looked like made of a clean wax… he was so cute and playing all the afternoon with me and more catch was his 6th finger on his right hand…cant b a better way to cherish the occasion…

Later in the after noon I changed myself and been on a local tour on the roads of Nagpur on my frnd;s bike…it was partly great as the climate was lavishing …. Been ther to India;s center point and amazed to see ppl havnt made that point a big tourist point at all…it was jus another memory kinda built…

Later went arnd the jungle, lakes etc….reached home arnd 5 in the evng…had a lovely tea time with his parents who wer so so sweet during all the time I stayed in nagpur..they even packed snacks for me…. Then, been on the shopping spree with the couple on the happening streets of Nagpur…they wer too kind and got me a lovely shirt of my choice …later I grabbed few packets of ‘lasoon chutney’ (famous thing in Nagpur) and I was all 'ready' to leave… soon we rushed to an amazing multi cuisine restaurant to feed ourselves…its only an hour left to reach station…quick dinner it was and I was well on time to the station... deftly an experience :)
