Coorg Trip !!!

wo wo wo....my shoulder...ahh it hurts, still pain all over...it all started 3 days back....the amazing coorg trip of ours...i aint got n e clue the trip gonna b so xcitng....friday was a bit heavy day for me in the office...ive got in to a new heavy task and it seems like that i gotto cme to office on saturday and im gonna skip the trip....i shooted a mail the same mrng to my frnds about this and very expectedly they all went mad and started to jump on my head....hoe can i explain ??? i was a little optimistic and thought i cud ask out my pl end of the day if it seems like goin out of the way..... was workng really hard to get the work done so as to keep me alive for the next day off...the evening finally arrived and was a big surprise my pl askd me out to get back on monday....that was indeed a big piece of cake to make my day....i got the 7 o clk shuttle back home wth my room mate/colleague ....alas!! found jus 2 at home (we expcted arnd 8 to 10) well we wer quite thrilled....coz critics sed my mail in the morng about my drop triggered the same thoughts to few in our gang and i was sure iam gonna b screwed if any one drops.......well its my day and nothing can go wrong...alll wer ther on time (as always ther will b 1 or 2 exceptions) we 12 l left wth loads of expectations in a 13 seater TT.....

The journey was quite hectic wth a completely retarded driver.....he felt a lot sleepy and wanted to sleep for a while in the half way .....we have no choice....we all popped out and had a good 1 hour chat (nthng usefull tho) ....how ever we all lost the sleep due to the frequent break in journey...ahhhhh.....early in the morning reached the budhist monestry on the way....not much impressive tho still quite amazed to find 100;s of tibetians at one place....the golden buddha doesnt inspired me much.....further travelled for a while and finally reached the dormtry after a very long travel (shudnt b but..) we all really tired and hungry .....rushed to the restrnt and i jus ate all like a beggar havnt eaten for 4 days.....u wanna kno my menu for the breakfast....

pine apple juice, 1- corn flakes + milk, 2 - bread pieces, 2 - omlettes, 2 plates upma, 8 - poori's , 1 - Tea (some body told me tea is good for digestion) ;)

its a buffet and the cost is 150 rs. per head...am sure i made my money worth for the buffet....this food well keep me alive and energetic until dinner....we all left to madikeri after the breakfast...i still havent had my shower as i was anticipating a good bath in the river or the falls....2 of our frnds are meant to join us in the madikeri as they wer heading from chennai...so the plan is like we gonna pick them and head towards the falls and later to thala cauvery.... we reached madikeri, it was an hour journey from our dorm and the wayside view was catchy along wth our noisy chat....ther we go, we got those 2 folks too but that was the point we did all the same things normally the other tourists do.....

the driver calmly delivered a sentence that put every one;s excitement at stake...he is not gonna allow more than 13 ppl inside the cab....wat the ******... 2 of us really liked it and we thought the real fun just begun....our leader in the gang called up the travels and shouted at them in his own style (not funny......12 ppl still worried so lemme b serious too) and wth no help he got more angry and he ordered us to boycott the vehicle and as always we obeyed the order....now...what next??? sme one started this ..... lets go and see if therz any other local travels here.....nahhh lets first plan our return tomrrow....we need to book the bus atleast.....well, the only way i guess....soon we got in to the bus station and quite lucky we all managed to get the tickets for all in the same bus....now half releaved we planned for the rest of the trip....it was alrdy 4 pm....pretty obviously nothing much can b done now.....hired 2 jeeps (7 each) and rushed to the Thala cauvery ...jus like a treasure hunt players...we are tensed...sun is speeding up to hide and the clouds streaming in to giv a scare like its gonna rain any moment and let the ppl in coorg suffer.....well 2 of us still enjoyed all these....


we reached the spot arnd 5 pm and the place is lavishing wth green bed and dull sky....it was the originating point for river cauvery....had a little prayer for ourselves to make us feel all this long i come to get this darshan....then i guided the gang to reach a cliff passing thro 500 odd steps... was nice ...how ever no rain .....am little disappointed, i anticiapted a rain at that time....later we then travelled to Triveni sangamam ( 3 rivers junction) ...none of us bothered to kno about the names of the rivers....most of us just jumped in....yipeeeee that was a real fun for 30 mins.....its 6.30 pm almost dark and we decided to get back and all wer pretty hungry either....then back in the jeep singing all the way back to the cave......the nite was very exciting wth drinks, food and chat........picking the micky out of a dumb ass is my favrte hobby ;)

next day early in the morning part of us been for a trekking wth a paid guide.....and i was quite busy myself sleeping till 9 am....8 of us wer ther and walkd to have my breakfast and even now iam hungry (once again aravindh) ;) then played badmitton for 30 mins...i liked it specially in the hill.....the trekking mates are back to put my badmitton fun in a jeopardy.....i then back to bathroom to have my shower.....and this was a real surprise...i never had such a lovely shower ...ever in my life...i mean the water force in the shower.....it was jus like under the falls .....man i was ther under for 30 mins odd....and i enjoyed every min. of it.....back in to the jeep to reach madikeri ......now we all are a little worried as we wanted more adventure....infact again 2 of us quite eager to miss the bus and c wat happens.......

the bus was more comfrtble than the TT we travelled.... we occupied the last 3 rows of the bus and fun all the way....dirty chat, takin the piss outta every one and so on....we believe the others dont kno tamil .....back in bangalore around 8.30.....and one of our frnd offered a treat to celebrate his admission in to IIM.....cant b a better way to finish a trip.... amazing dinner and bye to all.....

the tour was overall an exciting one and i enjoyed the company more than the place....the guys are dam cool, down to earth and i din felt a bit like i was in the middle of another group....wish we cud go for another exciting adventure ....sooner or later, shud b..... ;)
